We want to share some news that fills us with pride: our Rincón de la Subbética is once again at the very top of the World’s Best Olive Oils (WBOO) 2024/25 ranking, being named once again the World’s Best EVOO and World’s Best Organic EVOO.
The official score awarded to Rincón de la Subbética in this edition was 420 points, which represents a leap from the previous season and a notable lead over the runner-up, Oro Bailén Picual Bio, with 320 points. These numbers confirm the consistency of the passion with which we work at Almazaras de la Subbética every day, and consolidate our EVOO’s leadership as the most award-winning oil in the history of Spain.
Rincón de la Subbética is a single-variety Hojiblanca organic extra virgin oil, obtained in the first days of the harvest, from groves located in the heart of the Sierras Subbéticas Natural Park and with DOP Priego de Córdoba. Its sensory profile, an intense green fruitiness with herbaceous and citrus notes, balanced in bitterness and spiciness, continues to be valued by judges and consumers worldwide, as certified by having once again obtained this prestigious recognition.

Below, we review the most outstanding results of the WBOO 2024/25 ranking, where our effort and dedication to the olive grove once again shine brightly:
- Rincón de la Subbética — Almazaras de la Subbética: 420 points.
- Oro Bailén — Aceites Oro Bailén Galgón 99 S.L.: 320 points.
- Knolive Epicure — Knolive Oils, S.L.: 260 points.
In total, the edition includes 66 EVOOs among the most awarded, with 36 from Spain. Furthermore, 9 of the 10 most award-winning oils are Spanish, which reflects the strength of our industry at an international level.

We especially want to highlight that Almazaras de la Subbética maintains its leadership as the Best Organic Mill of the Year, reaffirming our commitment to sustainable and superior quality production.
